Passage of Time 2
After receiving feedback on the first passage of time, I realised that I didn't follow the expected path - choosing one subject and documenting it over a span of days. I decided to use this Camellia flower as a subject after seeing it one day leaving for uni. The Camellia tree sits in the shade next to the gate and the sun was shining just right to light the flower up.
Overall this image series turned out really nice - but the third photo is edited in a way that changes the warmth of the photo compared to the rest of the images. The last three days also look quite similar, as the flower doesn't decompose nearly as fast as it blooms. At first I thought it would be a challenge to get the same photo of the flower every day, but then I realised that I was documenting the passage of time - nothing stays the same, as well as angles, lighting, time of day and the growth stage of the flower.
